How it all began

The Happy Greens idea was born of a love of spending summer days growing vegetables at home.

Nothing beats the feeling of growing and eating the food you grew yourself. Sometimes I grew too much! More than likely of the one vegetable!

The kitchen was stuffed with propagators and then there were pots hugging all available window space in the sitting room!

Anyway, I started looking at the volumes being harvested and knew this was something I could do instead of sitting in front of a computer screen for seven hours a day (previous to this I founded and ran a digital marketing agency for 17 years).

While researching what I would grow I stumbled across microgreens and learnt just what a superfood is. I couldn’t find any to buy and so I started growing them at home just for family meals at first. After experiencing the flavours and the additional nutritional benefits Happy Greens was born!
